Italian language course for foreigners – Funded by the ESF
LANGUAGE TRAINING TO PROMOTE EMPLOYABILITY, ADAPTABILITY, AND INCLUSIONOperation Ref. PA 2025-24397/RER – Language Training to Promote Employability, Adaptability, and Inclusion, approved by the Emilia-Romagna Region with Regional Government Resolution (DGR) No. 1659/2025 of 20/10/2025 and co-funded by the European Social Fund Plus 2021–2027.TRAINING OBJECTIVESThe course aims to develop basic communicative competence in the Italian language, corresponding to Level A1 of the CEFR, enabling participants to:understand and use familiar everyday expressions;interact in a simple way in predictable contexts;manage immediate communication needs related to daily, social, and work life;increase personal autonomy and access to employment and training opportunities.The training offer is aimed at individuals who have completed compulsory education and the right-duty to education and training, regardless of their employment status, and who wish to undertake a training pathway to improve their language skills.Participants must be residents or domiciled in the Emilia-Romagna Region prior to enrollment and must hold a valid residence permit.TRAINING PROGRAMThe offer includes the following training courses:ITALIAN – LEVEL A1, 80 HOURSThe A1 level course (beginner level) is intended for those with very limited knowledge of the language who wish to learn to understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very common phrases to meet basic needs.ITALIAN – LEVEL A2, 60 HOURSThe A2 level course (elementary level) is designed for those with a basic knowledge of Italian (A1), who can already understand simple communication situations. The training strengthens comprehension and both oral and written production skills.ITALIAN – LEVEL B1, 60 HOURSThe B1 level course (intermediate level) is intended for those with an elementary knowledge of Italian (A2) and focuses on developing intermediate communicative skills, enabling participants to handle everyday communication more effectively and to express experiences, opinions, and plans in greater detail.The courses are completely free of charge as they are approved by the Emilia-Romagna Region and co-funded by the European Social Fund Plus 2021–2027.For information:Alessio Cortelloni – alessio.cortelloni@iscomformazione.it – Tel. +39 059 7364383
